Niacinamide is an amazing active ingredient which does it all…. reduces fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmented spots, red blotchiness, and skin tone, increases elasticity and skin texture. It assists in alleviating some of the symptoms of rosacea, by increasing hydration and the barrier function of the uppermost layer of the skin. Since 1995, clinical studies reported that a 4% topical niacinamide treatment applied twice daily helped to treat acne by reducing inflammation with similar efficacy to 1% clindamycin gel. It also has antibacterial properties. Niacinamide is also a promising anti-aging ingredient as it is proven to stimulate collagen synthesis. Niacinamide is an effective skin lightening agent as it inhibits melanosome transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes (skin cells).
Niacinamide has strong scientific research backing the cosmeceutical claims, putting it in a class with antioxidants, retinoids and amino acid peptides. An excellent active ingredient that should be part of your skin care routine!

Regenerating Serum containing .23% Retinaldehyde
Repair iii is our level three anti-aging serum. Since the entire line of Chiral Actives products uses ‘more’, Repair iii might be best classified as ‘the most’. This serum concentrate has double the active ingredients found in Repair i. For many people, this serum will cause significant exfoliation if not used in moderation, so we use this product to boost results in the area of stubborn lines, scars and significantly damaged skin. It can be added to any serum on a daily or less frequent basis, as Repair iii utilises maximum doses of the key remodeling ingredients from the line to enhance the effects of every serum. It contains 0.23% Retinaldehyde as well as many other collagen/elastin stimulating ingredients. It is also good for stubborn acne and enlarged pores.
